Homemade Dry Laundry Soap

Supply List:

4lb. 12oz. Borax

3lb. 7oz. Washing soda

3lb  Oxyclean

2 bars of Zone soap OR Fels-Naptha soap

4lb. Baking Soda

28oz. if Purex Crystals

To Begin:

Take your 2 bars of soap and grate it up, yes this will take a bit of time, but it will be worth it.  If you get tired stop, and have a cup of tea.

Now take a 5 gallon bucket that is empty.  Start pouring in your box of Borax, Washing Soda, Oxyclean, Baking Soda, grated up soap, and Purex Crystals.  I just take my hand and mix it all up-really well.

You are all done, and have laundry detergent for the year.

I fill up the empty Oxyclean container with soap, and that is what sits right by the Washer.  I take the rest and put it in a large tupperware container.  I use 1 T for most of my clothes washing, but up to 4T for farm clothes, rugs, and really dirty stuff.          Happy clothes washing..........
