Oh, I love this time of year.  A time to can whatever is available.   I was so excited when some neighbor friends called me and said that they had some extra tomatoes, and did I want them.  Yes, I did and thank you very much Mark and Denise.

I decided to try some tomato juice.  Yum, yum.  First I called my friend Mary Webb and picked her brain on how she does tomato juice.  She even said that Rolland loves fresh tomato juice, so  tried that too.  Yes, it was good, but I actually liked the cooked one better.
